About the Journal
The NATURAGEN Journal of Biodefense (NATURAGEN J. Biodef.) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing novel research in all areas of biodefense. It is published biannually and accepts original research articles, short communications, and review articles that present well-designed studies with clearly analyzed and logically interpreted results. Preference is given to research with the potential to make significant contributions to the broader field of biodefense.

The NATURAGEN Journal of Biodefense (NATURAGEN J. Biodef.) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes significant and impactful research across all areas of the biological sciences related to biodefense. These include genetics, molecular and cellular biology, physiology, structural and developmental biology, biosystematics and evolution, ecology, biodiversity, biotechnology, and bioinformatics. The journal covers all life forms, including microbes, fungi, plants, animals, humans, and viruses.
NATURAGEN J. Biodef. is published by the Study Program of Biology, Faculty of Military Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Republic of Indonesia Defense University. Its editorial content includes original research articles, short communications, and review articles. Submissions are welcomed from researchers worldwide. All accepted articles are published free of charge and made freely accessible to readers, ensuring global visibility and dissemination.
